    The past tense verb It denotes an action which was completed and finished in the past.

    Structure:

    1- composed of 3 letters:-Always starts with Fat-hah.-The letter in the middle can have 3 different marks:

    About the past tense verb

    1- There is no prefix attached to2- mostly comes with a pronoun suffixwhich is the

    a- The pronoun suffix*it can be letter alone or with an extra for dual, for (m. p.) or for (f. p.)It comes with:

    1-The singular of the 1st person (with on the last letter)

    2-All cases of the 2nd person.

    * Notice that the endings of the previous verbs are similar to the endings of the

    separate pronoun of that group; you can read it as a rhyme.

    b. The pronoun suffix ( ) (Naa of the doers) comes with the dualand plural of the 1st person, i.e.

    *Remember them by the in both of them.

    c. The pronoun suffix ( ) (Alif of two) comes with the dual of the

    3rd person

    with the 3rd person (f. s.) and at the end of 3rd person (d. f.)

    the long vowel Alif following it.

    - It is a sign of femininity i.e. the subject of that verb is in (f. s.)

    Whenever is the subject of the verb, the letters following it are not

    considered pronouns. They are only letters showing: plural, dual But when

    we teach beginners we consider the and whatever follows it a pronoun, to

    facilitate the conjugation.
