Swiss Medtech Day - THE Conference of the Swiss Medical Technology Industry

Breakout Session 1: MDR/IVDR - Collaboration and Alliance OpportunitiesThe implementation of new regulations such as MDR impacts Medical Devices manufactures and their processes on several levels. Authorized representatives, importers, distributors and suppliers will also feel the effects. In this session, we address possible opportunities for collaboration amongst industrial partners, as well as the anticipated pain points - starting at the executive level of your company, startup or spinoff.

Breakout Session 5: How can we utilize the benefits of digitalization in our value chain and still comply with regulatory requirements of the industry?For many companies digitalization seems to be the new password for innovation. In particular, utilizing digital ele-ments to transform a conservative business model into a forward-looking business model is a key success factor. It is conceivable that digitalization should help maintain a competitive market position and optimize the value chain at the same time. Ideally, digitalization offers benefits for both companies, and their customers. But how can we ensure compliance with all industry and regulatory requirements when we transform the business model?
