Copyright 2013 DCollinsworth 3Materials:7 ozs (makes all) Red Heart Super Saver yarn in Cornmeal, Café Latte and Aran, Size 10 crochet thread inBlack and White, size H & 7 crochet hooks or hooks to obtain gauge, needle to take yarn, needle to take crochetthread, 7” of ¼” wide elastic, 10 small snaps (3 ea outfit & 1 for cap) sewing needle and sewing thread andsmall amount of stuffing (fiber fill).Gauge: 3 hdc sts = 1”, 3 rows hdc = 1”. 3 sc sts = 1”, 4 rows sc = 1-1/4”Finished Size: Will fit most 12” Baby DollsLion Toy:With Aran and H hook ch-3, sl st to form a ring.Rnd 1: Ch-1, work 12 hdc in ring, sl st top beg hdc, ch-1, turn. (12 sts)Rnd 2-4: Hdc ea st around, sl st top beg hdc, ch-1, turn.Rnd 5: (Hdc dec next 2 sts) around, sl st top beg hdc, ch-1, turn. (6 sts)Stuff head at this point.Rnd 6: 2 Hdc ea st around, sl st top beg hdc, ch-1, turn. (12 sts)Rnd 7: (2 hdc next st, hdc next st) around, sl st top beg hdc, ch-1, turn. Do not stuff the arms and sew to ea side of the lion at theshoulders.Tummy for Lion Toy:Rnd 1: With Latte and H hook ch-5, sc 2nd ch from hook, sc next 2 ch, 3 sc last ch, turn piece so you are nowworking across the bottom of the foundation ch (in bottom of stitches just made), sc next 2, 2 sc last, sl st topbeg sc, fasten off.
