Word Problems!Julie has a part­time job along with going to school.  She worked three 

and one­half hours on Tuesday, two and one­half hours on Wednesday, four hours on Thursday, and six hours on Saturday.

A.) Write an expression to represent Julie’s total number 

      of hours that week.

b.) If Julie makes $9/hr, determine how much she made 

     that week before taxes.

c.) After Julie is paid she has to pay her cell phone bill of $89.37.  She also wants to buy a new pair of TOMS for $45.  Decide if she has 

enough money.
