He began hisworking career as a baker and for manyyears was employed at Cooper Foundry.His favorite leisure time activity was fish-ing, especially with his friend, Gene Slater.On July 10, 1963 in Otsego he married theformer Judith Wood who died in 1996. Alsopreceding him in death were brothersJohn, Howard, Robert and his twin brother,Murl; and a granddaughter, Sarah. Surviv-ing are three daughters, Georgia (Larry),Katrina (Michael) Harris, both of Otsego,and Elizabeth (Bill) of Harrison, MI; severalgrandchildren and great-grandchildren; abrother, Gilbert Snyder of Arkansas; sev-eral nieces and nephews.
