The proceeds from this event will
donated to our school. Thank you
our Knights of Columbus for hosti
this event. We could still use a fe
more middle school volunteers to
help clear and set-up tables. Con
tact me if your student is able to
work a shift Sunday a.m.
Your children in grades 3-8 should
be coming home feeling great tod
after celebrating the Sacrament o
Reconciliation with Fr. Doug and s
visiting priests this afternoon. It w
a nice way for all of our older stu-
dents to do one more piece of Chr
mas preparation together as a fait
community. Please remember ou
2nd grade students in your prayers
they receive this Sacrament for th
very first time this Saturday morni
Many blessings to you and your fami

Dear GA FamiliesHappy Advent! Our week began
with an extra special prayer op-
portunity on Monday with a
school-wide Advent Service led bythe GA Staff. We will continue
meeting with the first day of each
week between now and Christ-
mas. Since there is no school on
Monday, Tuesdays prayer service
will be led by the Middle School.
It is hard to believe that the first
trimester of school will end tomor-
row and report cards will be final-
ized and mailed out on Monday,
12/5. Grades K-3 will be using
the same report card format as
previous years but grades 4-8 will
be using our new template
through Cornerstone. Say anextra prayer this weekend that all
goes smoothly during the teach-
ers work time on Monday.
We have converted to our new GA
School Web-site this week. Take
a look and give us some feed-
back. If you have suggestions,
comments, or notice anything
missing, please let us know and
well see about getting it linked.
We are very excited to update and
move our web-site forward. As
with any change, we realize that
there may be some small
glitchesbut dont worrywell
address them quickly. A special
thanks to two of our School Com-
mission members who spear-
headed this projectGreg Os-
terdyk and Tom Tierney.
We are still taking reservations for
the double Christmas event com-
ing up on Saturday, December
10th. Take a look at the attach-
ment and send in your reserva-
tion. Thanks goes out to our PTO
members and Middle School Ser-
vice Club who are helping with the
planning of the Getting Ready for
Christmas Party, and Kris Janey
and Jen Dowling for the idea and
contact for the Floral Arranging
Session. It will definitely start to
feel like Christmas after Saturday
morning!
If you are able, there will be deli-
cious Belgian Waffles being
served in the GA School Gym this
Sunday morning from 8:00-12:00.

Prayer Corner
For all our GA school Families.
The basketball season is underway and we're excited for all 5 of
our GA teams! Our boys varsity plays their first game tomorrow
night at 4:30 at Blake and the girls varsity plays tomorrow night
at 7 at OLG! This Saturday is also the season opener for our all
of our Cub teams. The girls cub team plays at International at
10:30 am this Saturday, our boys cub silver plays at OLG at
11:45 and the boys cub gold plays at SACS at 9:15 am. We askthat players get to the location 30 minutes prior to the game.
Also, we're excited to announce that Southwest Christian High
school will be using our gym for 6 of their home games this sea-
son! If anyone has donations for the concessions stand we
would really appreciate it! Just small items like pop, candy, chips
etc. Lastly, make sure to check the online sign up for volunteer
positions for our home games (should be available by the end of
the day tomorrow). All basketball families need to sign up for a
minimum of three home games, and one donation to the booster
consession stand. Thank you! Mr. Jones
