1. GOD will supernaturally smite Egypt and an evil taskmaster will take over

2. Then they will cry unto the GOD of Israel – NOT Allah

3. GOD will hear their cry and deliver them – and they will be saved

4. They will build an altar to GOD and offer sacrifices; on their border with Israel

5. Egypt will be united with Israel; and Assyria (northern Iraq)

Egypt and gather them from Assyria. I will bring them to Gilead and Lebanon, and there will not be room enough for them.

1. Just as sometimes the farmer has to get the mule’s attention by smacking it in the head, so stubborn people have to have strong dealing by the LORD to get their attention.

1. Both languages are Semitic based – Arabic speakers can easily learn Hebrew; which is easier than Arabic to speak.

altar to the LORD in the midst of the land of Egypt, and a pillar at the border thereof to the LORD.

1. The word used is a ‘borrowed’ Egyptian word; the ancient word for Sun.

Isaiah 45:1414 Thus says the LORD: "The labor

of Egypt and merchandise of Ethiopia and of Yemen, men of stature, shall come over to you, and they shall be yours; they shall walk behind you, they shall come over in chains; and they shall bow down to you. They will make supplication to you, saying, 'Surely God is in you, and there is no other; there is no other God.'"
