Gondola System Standards

Manipulation of any parts or pieces of a gondola system,

other than adjusting shelving up or down, is prohibited by store

Partners or anyone not certified to install these systems. This

includes manipulation and/or removal of base shelves,

endcaps, stand-alone gondolas, etc.. The only Partners

allowed to manipulate gondola systems are the ShelfEdge

Project Managers and Project Leaders or certified

installers. Professional, third party installers are hired by H-E-B to

install gondola systems and should be contracted to repair

any gondola system deficiencies.

- Bag sizes under 40Lbs no more than 2 high, not to exceed the depth of the shelf

- Allowed only when broken down, but does

not exceed depth and the 2 high parameter

Riser best practices:

Riser product must be “turn” product, enough for the days business.

Product on the Risers must be able to be identified what it is without having to bring product down to checkLoose boxes must be laying down while showing the description of the item

Boxed product must be laid down but not to exceed height of average size of full case.

Product less than ½ a case must be loose on riser.

No mixed closed cases on the riser

Product at the end of the riser to replenish displays should be properly labeled as Ad/ Promo.

Yellow stools must have a set location on risers and must be labeled on every other aisle or where as needed.

Dead stock not allowed on risers.

Cases on riser should not stick out of the lip of the shelf. 11

where the product lives when applicable.)
