CHRISTMAS CARDS | We have the Parish Christmas Cards available from this weekend. These have a twofold purpose: 1) to let you all know when things are happening, and where; and 2) to let other people know as well. How can they know unless someone tells them? We can pass the news on to other people! This is where you come in: please take a suitable number of cards with you after Mass today, and put them through your neighbours’ letterboxes—or, as appropriate, ring the doorbell and deliver it by hand. This is a very gentle form of outreach, not only to the lapsed, but to those who perhaps have yet to encounter Christ in His Church. You may have new neighbours, new housing may have been built; you may wish to co-ordinate with a churchgoing neighbour to put a card through the door of everyone in your street. More are available on request. I should like them to run out! FrD

RESERVE A PLACE AT CRISIS THIS CHRISTMAS 1 Your £28.87 can reserve a place for someone this Christmas and introduce them to the education, training and support to help end their homelessness for good through Crisis’s year-round services. Please go to www.crisis.org.uk
