Then the corresponding DB is automatically created. Turn the EN_R ON to enable </p><p>the communication. R is reset input, and LADDR is the local address value checked in </p><p>the previous step.Enter one of DB Nos. to be used. For example, If PLC node is set 16 </p><p>by user, highest node should be set 31 or above. </p><p>1.1.4 &lt; S7-300/400 CPU Set up &gt; </p><p>1.1.5 Configuration of S7-300/400 CPU &gt; </p><p>(1) Hardware Configuration </p><p>Assign 187.5Kbps to the Transmission rate in the Network Setting tab of the MPI interface </p><p>as shown in the figure below. Change the highest address to 15 for a fast connection in the </p><p>communication network. </p><p>REF. </p></li><li><p>(2) Options &gt; Set PG/PC Interface &gt; PC Adapter &gt; MPI </p><p>Assign 187.5 Kbps to the Transmission Rate as shown in the figure below. As the Highest </p><p>Address is for the PC, the value is different from the MPI address. </p><p> Select the Highest Node Address in the TOP Designer in case a PC Adapter is used. (see </p><p>Project Information in the Designer) </p></li><li><p>(3) Options &gt; Set PG/PC Interface &gt; PC Adapter &gt; Local Connection </p><p>The Local Connection is the speed at which the PC communicates with the TOP in case a </p><p>PC Adapter is used. Assign 19200 or 38400 to the Local Connection depending on the </p><p>switch value specified on the side of the PC Adapter. </p><p>(4) TOP Menu </p><p>Assign 19200 or 38400 to the Baud Rate depending on the switch value specified on the </p><p>PC Adapter.
