as Ken’s mom passed away on 11/24 on her 93rd

birthday;

t for Lyle VanderHaar who is in the hospital in

Bradenton FL as of this writing with flu-like

symptoms;

t for Julie Hapke’s dad, Paul, who will be having

surgery soon to remove a cyst located in his kidney;

t for Cathie Raby’s brother, Pat, who recently had

his foot amputated but due to insufficient healing

may have to have his leg amputated above the knee.

Pray for healing in the next 2 weeks so more

amputation will not be necessary;

t for great results on a CT Scan that Dave Timmer

will be having at Cancer Treatment Centers of

America tomorrow;

t for all in our church family who have had recent

surgeries and illnesses;

t for the homebound in our church including:

The Holland Sentinel is donating Sunday newspapers to the church in support

of youth outreach. Pick up a paper (for a donation) at the front door today!

Parkside participates with Beacon of Hope in supplying canned goods and

non-perishables for those in need. Bring your items to church and put them

in the basket located near the Children’s Ministry Counter.

Church Office Hours Monday-Thursday 8:00 a.m.-Noon & 1:00-4:30 p.m.

Friday: 8:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.

There will be no Sr. High tonight but join us next week for Create Night!

Jr. High: It’s “Create Night” this Wednesday at 6:30 p.m.

Upcoming for all Jr. & Sr. High Youth and College: WINTER JAM Sunday evening, January 4. The cost will be $10. More details coming soon!

YOUTH GROUP CHRISTMAS PARTIES COMING UP!

The L.I.G.H.T.S. Coffee House is open every Sunday

before and after church in the Youth Room featuring

expresso, cappuccino, latte, mocha, fruit smoothies,

juices, and other snacks for purchase.

Regular coffee is free!

DIRECTOR/COORDINATOR NEEDED FOR 2015 VBS!

If you have an interest in heading up our next Vacation Bible School, please talk to Connie Bean, Lynn Van Kampen,

Laurie Hoek or Donna Bronsink.

If you checked out an outdoor sign for the Arts & Crafts Fair, please

return it to the church ASAP so we can reuse it next year. Thanks.

WEDNESDAY NIGHT BIBLE STUDY Join us this Wednesday night for Bible Study

at 7:00 p.m. as we resume “The Grace by Which We Stand” taught by Harold Kimbel.

The class meets in Room A-3 in the new addition.

WOMEN’S BINGO CHRISTMAS POTLUCK THIS FRIDAY All ladies are invited

to a fun night out this Friday, December 5, at 5:30 pm at the church! It’s a potluck

so sign up at the Women’s Counter to attend and bring a dish to pass. Also bring 2

wrapped gifts of around $5.00 each as we’ll be playing BINGO and you’ll be going

home with 2 gifts! This is a great way to build friendships in the church and get to

know some of the ladies a little more intimately. Questions...see Ginny Pete, Marge

Jimmerson, or Judy Timmer.

WOMEN’S BIBLE STUDY & COOKIE EXCHANGE Ladies, the women’s Bible study

with Kathy Molenkamp from Grace Bible College will be held next Sunday, Dec. 7th in

the sanctuary from 6:00-8:00 p.m. The topic is “Biblical Truths about God, Yourself

and Others.” Get into the Word, enjoy some great snacks with your lady friends.

Plan to attend and invite your friends. This is also be a Cookie Exchange so bring

a dozen cookies with you to share and exchange with others!

FELLOWSHIP COFFEE NEXT SUNDAY! Join us next Sunday (Dec. 7) in the Family

Life Center at 10:15 a.m. and enjoy coffee and baked goods while you visit with your

church friends! The following ladies are scheduled to bring goodies that morning.

DAVID MEECE FREE “CONCERT OF HOPE” AT THE

CHURCH THIS SATURDAY, DECEMBER 6, AT 7:00 P.M.

David Meece is a singer, songwriter and exceptionally talented pianist.

He had more than 30 Top 10 hits during his career and was a front-

runner in contemporary Christian music. A child prodigy, David began

touring as a concert pianist at the age of 10. He dedicated his life to

the Lord during college and is now celebrating 31 years of Christian

music ministry all over the world. Some of his more famous songs

include “We Are the Reason, “My Father’s Chair” and “One Small

Child” written by David when he was only 14 years old. Please plan

to attend and invite your friends!
