Sardarni Joginder Kour Anand daughter of late Sardar Kesar Singh Sahni was born on19th May 1929 in Pakistan occupied Kashmir(POK) . She had four brothers. Her father wasan eminent government contractor. During partition in 1947 the family migrated from POKand settled in Jammu.

She completed her middle standard of education and got married to Sardar Harbans SinghAnand son of late Sardar Waryam Singh Anand resident of Gandhi Nagar Jammu duringearly forties. Her husband was also a famous government contractor. She had two sonswhom she provided good education and both of them were doing their independent businessand contractorship. She was a very intelligent and sober lady and had very good reputationin the family and even in the society. She was very helpful to the poor and needy people. Shewas a spiritual soul and very particular in her religious routines.

She lost her husband in 1984 and after some time his both the sons expired. She faced thesituation boldly and remained contended with the will and wish of Almighty. She breathed herlast on 3rd March, 2014 after prolonged ailment. She is survived by her grand children. MayGod give eternal peace to the departed soul.
