bringing you a pop cultural experience like no other in

Southern Arizona. We have TV and movie celebrities,

Hollywood icon Billy Dee Williams was a long-anticipated and much needed addition to the cast of heroes in the Star Wars Universe as Lando Calrissian. His considerable presence brought many viewers to the seats of the theater to see The Empire Strikes Back and Return to the Jedi.

Ming Chen first met Kevin Smith through the fan site he created in dedication to Smith in 1995, which led to Chen being hired to create the View Askew Productions website. Today he continues to work on all of Smith’s online properties, and is the technical expert at Jay and Silent Bob’s Secret Stash. Chen has a prominent presence on AMC’s reality television show, Comic Book Men.

Barry Bostwick is an American stage and screen actor. He is best known for portraying Brad Majors in the musical comedy horror The Rocky Horror Picture Show (1975) and Mayor Randall Winston in the sitcom Spin City (1996–2002). Bostwick has also had considerable success in musical theatre, winning a Tony Award for his role in the musical The Robber Bridegroom.

Neal Adams has had legendary runs on Batman, X-Men, Green Lantern/Green Arrow and Deadman. Adams rescued Batman from the campy TV show, and transformed him into his present “Avenger of the Night” persona. His run led directly to the realistic

incarnation seen in Batman Begins, and the The Dark Knight movies. Creator of Ras Al Ghul , now featured in the Arrow series, and pretty much created the Green Arrow and Merlyn characters we see in the Arrow TV show.

James O’Barr is best known for creating The Crow comic series, but he is also an accomplished

Josef “Joe” Rubinstein started his artist career in the early 1970s as a teenager. Primarily working as an inker, his artwork has been published by every major U.S. comics publisher including Marvel Comics, DC Comics and Dark Horse Comics. One of his most

important works has been inking The Official Handbook of the Marvel Universe over a span of twenty years for which he holds a Guinness World Record of inking more pencilers than any other inker.

BOB LAYTON Friday, Saturday and Sunday Location: Booth 1211

One of the comics industry’s true visionaries at every level, creator, writer, artist, designer, and entrepreneur, with over 5,000 comic book credits to his name, Bob Layton has successfully migrated from comics to other media, including television,

animation and feature films. If you’ve seen the Iron Man movies, then you’re familiar with Bob’s work as the DVD extras make clear. Layton is also known for creating The Huntress for DC Comics and as the founder of Valiant Comics.

MICHAEL GOLDEN Friday, Saturday and Sunday Location: Booth 312

Artist, writer and creator Michael Golden is a legend in the comic book industry, but one that has never stopped adding to his legacy as a storytelling professional. Co-creator of the X-Men’s Rogue character, Spartan X and Bucky O’Hare, Michael is

known worldwide for his groundbreaking work on The ‘Nam, Micronauts, G.I. Joe Yearbook and Dr. Strange, among MUCH more, and is counted as one of the best cover designers and illustrators in the business.

ADAM YEATER Friday, Saturday and Sunday Location: Artist Alley A141

Adam Yeater is the artist and publisher of the underground comic book called One Last Day. He creates prints, custom toys, and many other items related to this ongoing series. He is also known for his “cute monster” paintings. He is currently living in Tucson, Arizona with his wife and two children.
