HOLDEN STREET theatres venue hire
Holden Street Theatres is one of Adelaide’s unique boutique venues.
We continue to develop new strategies to create employment opportunities and support the cultural future of South Australia.
We are dedicated to the professional development and production of theatre.
We strongly encourage new companies to form and existing companies to continue by offering support, advice and a contributive environment.
In order to engage new and existing audiences we focus towards the presentation and development of new Australian works, international productions which may not have been seen here in Australia and innovative ways of presentation.
We strive for cultural and artistic significance on a local, national and international scale and we are passionate about building
exchange programs between Holden Street and international companies to contribute to the quality and diversity of the arts in South Australia.
Holden Street Theatres has local, national and international recognition as a venue that supports new collaborations, takes risks, produces internationally viable work and supports companies to develop high caliber productions.
In it’s short history, Holden Street has shown a huge amount of development and productivity. This progress is a clear indication of the ability of Holden Street to continue to strive for excellence and support the South Australian arts industry.

ARE YOU INTERESTED IN VENUE HIRE?
Holden Street Theatres prides itself on working with the community to give back to the South Australian arts industry.
We run an internship program for 4 months of the year helping soon to be graduate students get their foot in the door!
In the past this has led to the opportunity of further employment both within Holden Street Theatres and the wider arts community. Our internship program is catered to each individual looking to build on their strengths and introduce new skills – helping to build our intern graduates into accomplished and well-rounded workers within their fields.
This year we have offered several interns this amazing opportunity.
Holden Street has a wide volunteer base which keeps us running during Fringe and of whom all are dearly appreciated. Our volunteers are people of all ages from young students who want to build their resume, those wanting to meet new friends with a similar interest, to those who have retired and are looking to be involved in an exciting, and fast-paced event site
If you are interested in joining our volunteer team or would like to learn more about our internship programs please contact us at [email protected].
