GAME PLAN The 2020 Blue Hawk Football Camp is honored to offer its 21st Annual Team Football Camp. The camp gives each athlete an opportunity to improve his playing skills. Campers will be able to apply their techniques in a team atmosphere. High school staffs are allowed team practice times three times a day to incorporate their own schemes. Each team will play games in the evenings against opposing camp teams. If a school cannot bring a full team or an individual would like to attend alone, our staff will assign them during team instruction. The Blue Hawk Camp staff will provide instruction in fundamentals and techniques daily.

EQUIPMENT TO BRING Equipment: helmet, shoulder pads, jersey, mouth piece, practice pants with pads, football shoes, shorts, t-shirts, socks andtennis shoes.

Personal Items: towels, toiletry items and your own bedding. You may bring a fan if you like and spending money for the camp store and pizza.

FACILITIES The Biesiot Activities Center will be utilized along with the DSU practice fields. Meals will be served in the DSU Student Center. Housing will be in the DSU residence halls and campers will be supervised by DSU staff.

BENEFITS• One-on-one instruction by the coaching staff

• Opportunity for coaches to gain valuable practice time with the team

COSTS $175 - Residence Camper includes all instruction, housing, meals and t-shirt

$125 - Commuter Camper includes all instruction, t-shirt, and meals (except breakfast)

REGISTRATION TIME Registration will take place June 21, from 1-3 p.m. The first camp session will be at 4 p.m. This will be an individual segment part of camp instruction. Automobiles may be kept on campus, but keys must be turned in to the camp director. The camp will end June 18 at 4 p.m.

POSITIONS COACHED OFFENSE Quarterback – stance, center exchange, footwork, drop-back/play action pass, setting up, throwing, release and follow-through

Running Back – stance, release, ball security, faking, running, cutting, pass receiving and blocking

Tight End/Receiver – stance, release, pass patterns, pass catching, ball carrying and blocking

Offensive Line – stance, agility drills, run blocking and pass protection technique

DEFENSE Defensive Line and Linebackers – stance, key reactions, run/pass defense, tackling pursuit, pass rush technique and stunt and blitz technique

Secondary – stance, alignment, zone and man coverage, block reaction, tackling and agility drills.
