3 people said because they don’t have or can’t get a job
2 people said they don’t know
Here are the other things people said:

Because I don't have a house of my own
Because I have not had the opportunity to choose where I live and
who I want to live with. I want my own home like my brother, not tolive with other people.

Because some people can travel further than I am able toindependently go.
Because the might be unsure what they want to do.
Because you cannot do the same thing as people who have not gota learning disability.
Being treat the same as anyone else, changing attitudes towardsPWLD
Bit of both of any kind.
Can't do my own shopping have to wait for staff to come and help
Can't go out with friends like my brother does
Education, Friendship, Relationship

Everyone's different but have chance to do what they can.

I think people who do not have a learning disability have morechoice in life.
I think we often miss out on the same opportunities as others when itcomes to finding the right work and building the same relationship.
Also generally understanding regular documentation is morechallenging.

Only sometimes I feel I do
People see us as different
People with a learning disability find things hard so they may needsupport and access to work only for a year. People need it all the
time People without learning disability have more choice themselves
There are no dating agencies or friendship clubs in my area forpeople like me
Want to go out more with friends
Want to go out myself
We need more community facilities where I don't become sociallyisolated.
