Hey there. Sophie here! I’m deputy head

of the magazine. I do your future every

issue and the tips and tricks section. I

also help with other parts such as the

freaky facts, games galore and joyful

jokes. My birthday is the 27th November

for those who really must know and here’s

what I look like!

Hi. It’s Katie. I’m head of the magazine. I came up

with a few of the ideas, Sophie also came up with

some of them. I love making this magazine. I came

up with the idea for party tips, friend or foe and

fashion. I was a model for some of the pictures.

My birthday is the 28th December and here’s a

picture of me.

Hey, it’s Jodie’s box but Sophie’s writing it

because I’m a little lazy. I don’t really do

much with the magazine which is why I’m

only a member. I did take a few pictures

for the fashion part but that’s about it. I

prefer to play with Lego with my brother

Thomas! Sorry, don’t have a picture of me!

Hey, Thomas here, I don’t even do anything for

the magazine but I am the cameraman for their

show iGirls. If you look up iGirlsxX you can find

them on youtube! Sophie is also writing this part

because I’m busy playing with lego with Jodie! I

also do Tom’s Time on the show iGirls.

Hey, Sophie here and today I’ve got a tutorial, this tutorial will help

you:

Step 1 ~ Pick your picture and a mood, the outcome

of your picture depends on this. You could have a

happy flower or a sad puppy; it all depends on the

picture and the mood you choose. However, don’t

choose a smiley thing and say okay it’s sad. That will

NOT work! My picture for this tutorial is the one to

the right.

Step 2 ~ Choose a photo editing site that meets your need, I tend to

go for Picnik but others like Lunapic have very cool 3D effects! So for

this tutorial I am using Picnik!

Step 3 ~ Think back to your mood, this is where the

magic starts to happen, if your picture is happy then

you may want bright and colourful, if the mood is

sad you’ll want black and white, dull. You can other

moods like angry or excited, maybe surprised but

happy and sad are the easiest. My mood is happy so

I used effects such as Lomo-ish which makes it

brighter. I also used boost. My edit so far is on the

left.

Step 4 ~ Pick a pretty frame...Or not, some look

better with frames and some don’t, also “stickers”

also known as small images can be added to add

some interest. I chose a daisy frame since daisies

are usually a happy thing! I also added some

stickers; the ones that I chose were the pink and

white flowers in the smilies part! My improved

edit is on the right.

Step 5 ~ Add some text, maybe song lyrics or a famous quote, maybe

even just add a name. Choose a really cool yet fitting font and colour.

I chose to add my name so I just put Sophie. I used some really happy

fonts by using Joyful Juliana and I chose a nice pretty colour that can

still be read, white! And voila! You have your very own fabulous edit!

Here’s my result! Pretty and happy, right?

This month warm cardigans and pretty dresses with

hot bags are so in style!

Go for a nice red bag to brighten up your look, obviously with a little bit of

silver to give it that extra sparkle!

Grey bags are just as good as red ones and with diamantes

on it you’ve got that extra sparkle! Perfect size for an

average school day too!

Denim looks great with almost anything so add a denim

jacket to spice up your look!

Blue and sparkly purses are great to show off for when you want to pay for

something and they’re totally casual! Awesome!

Furry jackets are amazing. Obviously it’s fake fur! They go well

with so many things and they make any outfit look super cute!

It’s party time and what are you going to wear? Obviously this

amazing grey dress with the black spots! Casual, pretty and

super cute at the same time!

For a warm yet casual look go for a stripy cardigan! So cute

and warm! Perfect for the upcoming winter months!

For one of the warmer days a super cute ruffled tee and

white shorts is perfect! You can’t go wrong with that!

Going to another party? Well you can’t go wrong with the

gorgeous purple dress with small pink, purple and white hearts,

add a belt with the same pattern and you can’t go wrong!

Pink , pink and more pink! It looks fabulous on this all in one

set, perfect for a nice sunny day.

1. Decorations – Add balloons and streamers and you can’t go

wrong with a pretty banner, homemade banners

shows your guests that you’ve put effort in so that

may just be better! Pretty lights are always great

but not Christmas lights unless it’s Christmas!

2. Entertainment – Everyone likes to sing and dance

and just muck about so make sure to have plenty of

CDs with songs that are easy to sing and dance to! Maybe a

special mini spa, you could have make-overs too.

3. Food – The most important part, if you’re guest doesn’t like the

food they will be hungry and most likely annoyed. Make sure to

have a range of food and nothing that someone

is allergic to! Milkshakes, juice, smoothies and

fizzy pop for the drinks. Good range right there.

Cookies cut into funny shapes or really nice

shapes such as hearts and stars are always great

too and you’ll want plenty of other yummy foods! Fruit is good

for your more healthy guests.

4. Extra – Put it over the top with little party bags, you

can add something specifically for the person along

with a slice of cake or give them all the same thing

and make sure whatever it is will be something they

enjoy though.

5. Invitations – Everybody wants to go to a party

with a pretty invite so spend time decorating each and

every one. Hand write them if there’s not many friends but if

it’s a big party use the computer and print them out!
