The language of a confident woman is never doubt;

it’s a willingness to embrace risk.choose to act, to do, and to decide.

Confident women pursue mastery, not perfection.

In that quest of learning lies your greatest wisdom.

Confidence is earned first internally and naturally flows outward.

“Confidence is the way we meet our circumstances, whether they are wondrous and wonderful

or really hard and difficult.” - Sharon Salzberg

5

While confidence is part genetics, above all it’s a choice that starts with mental exercises as simple as mediation.

Glinda the Good Witch was right when she said,

“You’ve always had the power. You just have to be still to find it.”

As with perfection, overthinking is a confidence killer for women due to the increased activity in the prefrontal and limbic cortex.

“When the prefrontal cortex works too hard, as it often does in women,

it’s like the parking brake is always on and you can get stuck on certain thoughts or behaviors, such as worrying or holding grudges.”

- Dr. Daniel Amen

7

Those who embrace a ‘growth mindset’ never fail, they just learn from every experience, good or bad. “Did I win? Did I lose? Those are the wrong questions.

The correct question is, “Did I make my best effort?” If so, he says, “You may be outscored buy you will never lose.”

- Carol Dweck

8

Women thrive more on ‘we’ than ‘me.’ “As soon as a candidate realizes it’s not about self-aggrandizement, particularly a female candidate, they become stronger and they become more purpose-driven”

- Senator Kirsten Gillibrand

9

Remember that false bravado rarely goes unnoticed.

confident women never fake it, they always demonstrated it.

10

Enjoy getting your hair and nails done, but never shy away from challenge and struggle,

for that’s where your greatest confidence lies.

Do you still have to ask if you deserve success?

REALLY REFLECT...
