ADAM MAŁYSZ Adam Małysz is a former ski jumper. He was born on 3 December 1977 in Wisła

His achievements: One of the most successful ski jumpers in the

history of the sport. The most important of Małysz's successes are 4

individual Olympic Games medals, 4 individual World Championships gold medals (all-time record), 4 individual World Cup titles, 39 individual competition wins and 92 podiums in total.

After concluding his ski-jumping career in 2011

he appeared in Dakar Rally in 2012 and 2013. Interesting facts He graduated the school for tilers. He has found the gallery of his own medals. He loves ads and sometimes work for

JUSTYNA KOWALCZYK She is a cross country skier Justyna Kowalczyk is 30 years old. She is

from Limanowa. She is very tall. She finished AWF in Katowice.

Her achievement 

Tour de Ski four times in a row and one of two female skiers, who won the FIS Cross-Country World Cup three times in a row. Kowalczyk holds the all-time record for the most wins in Tour de Ski with 14 competitions won and 29 podiums in total.

She is first woman who won the Olympic championship for Poland.

Interesting facts Justyna likes books about Russia. She

likes eating chocolate. She collects donkeys . She has two sisters: Ilona and Wioletta and

MARIUSZ PUDZIANOWSKI

He was Strongman but he is a player of mixed fighting styles

(MMA) and rugby player now.

Mariusz Pudzianowski was born in 7th of February 1977 in

AGNIESZKA RADWAŃSKA Agnieszka Radwańska is a professional tennis

player. She was born on 6th March 1989.Her achievements

As of 8 April 2013, she is ranked world no. 4. Radwańska holds a number of tennis accolades.

She is the first Polish player in the Open Era to reach the singles final of a Grand Slam (the 2012 Wimbledon Championships), the first Pole to claim a WTA singles title (the 2007 Nordea Nordic Light Open), and the winner of the longest three-set match played at the WTA Tour Championships. She won the WTA Award for Most Impressive Newcomer in 2006, and has been voted the WTA's most popular player for two consecutive years (2011–2012) .

ROBERT LEWANDOWSKI Robert Lewandowski is a famous footballer. He was born in Warsaw on 21st August 1988.

His achievements Lewandowski made three appearances for Poland’s

U21 team in friendly matches against England, Belarus and Finland.

His debut for the senior national team against San Marino where he came on as a sub and scored one goal.Playing in Warsaw in the opening match of the UEFA Euro 2012 tournament against Greece, Lewandowski scored the first goal of the competition and was named Man of the Match.

Lewandowski won his 50th cap for the national side during their 3–1 friendly defeat to Uruguay

Interesting facts His mother was a volleyball player and his father did

judo. He was Polish Footballer of the Year in 2011 and

2012. He is a millionaire.

TOMASZ MAJEWSKI Tomasz Majewski is an athlete specjalizing in shot ball. He was born August 30th, 1981 in Nasielsku. Now he is 31

years old. His achievements During the Olympic final in Beijing he threw 21.51 meters

for the gold medal, in Barcelona he threw a personal best of 21.64 m and few days later he improved upon this with a throw of 21.95 m, a new Polish record.

At the 2010 IAAF World Indoor Championships he threw a personal best and Polish indoor record of 21.20 m.

In the outdoor season, Majewski competed at the 2010 Europen Athletics Championships and won the shot put silver medal.

At the 2011 in Europen Team Championships he was the silver medallist

Interesting facts In 2009 he was awarded by President Lech Kaczyński's

cross of the order of the Rebirth of Polish. Tomek is privately basketball fan. He likes a good book

written by Jacek Dukaj,science-fiction and fantasy. He spends his free time with his wife Anne. He likes

ANITA WŁODARCZYK Anita Włodarczyk is an athletics, specializes in the hammer

throw. She was born 8th August 1985 in Rawicz. She is 27 years

old.

Her achievements Włodarczyk won her first national U23 championships in

2007.Włodarczyk qualified for the 2008 World Athletics Final and won a bronze medal.

Włodarczyk achieved a personal best throw of 76.20 metres, achieved in 2009 . She produced a national record-breaking performance in Cottbus, winning the competition with a world-leading 77.20 m throw.

In 2009 during the World Championships in Atletics in Berlin Włodarczyk set a world record with a throw of 77.96 metres (255 ft 9 in).

She came third at the Ostrava Golden Spike and runner-up at the Prefontaine Classic.

For her sport achievements, she received:Knight's Cross of the Order of Polonia Restituta in 2009.

TOMASZ GOLLOB Tomasz Gollob is a Polish motorcycle speedway rider. He was born 11th April 1971 in Bydgoszcz and he is 41 years ago.

His brother is speedway rider too. His achievements Polish individual Championship 8 times Polish Grand Prix 8 times As a member of Poland speedway Team – World Team Cup 1996

and the World Cup 5 times Polish Pairs Championship- 10 times Interesting facts Tomasz Gollob likes football and hockey but his passion is only one

– motorcycles! He plays tennis with Mariusz Czerkawski Tomasz Gollob has two brothers and one sister. In 2007 Gollob survived a plane crash.

BARTOSZ KUREK Bartosz Kurek is a men's volleyball player. He was born 29th August 1988.

His achievements He played for Skra Bełchatów from 2008-2012, where

he won both Championship and Cup of Poland games for the season 2008 – 2009.

He played with the Poland squad who won the Bronze Medal at the 2011 World League, winning also the Best Scorer award.

He won the Gold Medal at the 2012 FIVB World League, winning also the Most Valuable Player (MVP) award.

In the 2011-12 CEV Champions League, Kurek won the Best Spiker award, and the silver medal, playing with Skra Bełchatów.

Interesting facts His father, Adam Kurek, also was a volleyball player,

capping several times for Poland. In 2009 he was awarded The Order of Polonia

Restituta.
