How to configure the main

system to send SMS

Introduction

- This Articles illustrate how to configure the

GV-system to send a SMS when abnormal eventshappened.

-That feature is useful to monitoring the

surveillance system.

From the listed menu, select System Configure.

Step 2:

From System Configure wizard, click on the

arrow button to start activate SMS feature, inSend Alerts Approach box.

From the Send Alerts Approach Setup wizard,enable Alternative Alert Approach.

You may specify time between two sent-out

messages (all alerts will be ignored during thattime).

Click on Account Settings to open the SMSSetup window.

From the SMS Setup wizard, Enter the

IP

address of the SMS server in Server IP field.

You may select a local or remote SMS server.

You may modify the server port.

Enter a valid Login ID and Password.

pen the Mobile Setup tab to add the recipientnumbers.

Test the connection to the SMS server by clickTest Account.

When the message tell that Login SMS server

ok! that mean the test is successful, then clickOK on both wizard to return to SystemConfigure wizard.

From the Monitor Option box, enable SentEvent Alerts .

Click on the question mark for additionalinformation.

email/hotline/SMS when abnormal events occurs.

Click on the arrow button to select the SMSevent types.

The Alert Events Setup show the SMS events

type that can used.Note: Intruder, Missing Object, UnattendedObject and POS Lose Prevention alert eventsare only available when the alarm settings are

activated in Counter Application, ObjectMonitor and POS Application respectively.

Enable all alert conditions, then click OK.

Enable Invoke to Send Alerts to activate theSMS feature on the camera.

Modify the motion duration sensitivity (low: 1.5s,normal: 1s, high: 0.5s), then click OK.

hen the camera detects motion, an SMS is sentto the recipient(s) defined in the settings.
