The East African country of Kenya is known for its massive

congregation of wildlife, ancient tribe of Maasai

community, and adventurous safaris. What all this, and

more, possibilities lead to is a set of mind-blowing

locations with some outstanding views to capture.

Volunteering Solutions provide affordable volunteer

programs in the capital city of Nairobi, which neighbors

several of such sites, making it a great package for

overseas volunteers to make their journey a memorable

one. Here is a comprehensive list of sites in Kenya with

some of the most breathtaking views:

1. Masai MaraTaking forward the famous Serengeti

National Park of Tanzania inside the

borders of Kenya, is this most famous

National Reserve of Kenya; popularly

known as The Mara by the locals.

Popular for the great annual migration

and the presence of the ‘Big 5’ of Africa,

Masai Mara provides some of the best

wildlife views in the world. The best

part is, along with the jungle safari on

land you have the options to take a hot-

air balloon safari to get an amazing

aerial view of the reserve.

2. Lake Nakuru

Where there is lake, there will

be migrant birds for sure. At

lake Nakuru, one may find a

huge congregation of flamingo

birds lining up the shore. It is

one of the finest National Parks

in Kenya with opportunities to

view the white and black

rhinos both, tree climbing

lions, baboons and more.

3. Hell’s Gate National Park

Hell’s Gate is an ideal venue for a

day trip from Nairobi where, in

addition to the bio-diversity that

includes raptors, visitors can enjoy

mountain biking, rock climbing and

a natural spa. Spectacular scenery

including the towering cliffs, water-

gouged gorges, stark rock towers,

scrub clad volcanoes and belching

plumes of geothermal steam make

it one of the most atmospheric

Parks in Africa.

4. Diani Beach

Located 30kms south of

Mombasa city, the Diani beach

general area is known for its

coral reefs, black-and-white

colobus monkeys, and for the

5. Ruins of Gedi

What once was an artistically

constructed and managed

town, today has a dead silent

space with a palace, mosque,

and several coral-brick

houses. Assumed to be

formed during the 13th or the

14th century, the researchers

are yet to proclaim the actual

reason of abandonment.

The location also carries
