Combat Radio will be back on Wednesday October 25th for their annual fundraiser!

The $2000 in 2 minute campaign has been very successful over the last two years!

& WE ARE DOING IT AGAIN THIS WEDNESDAY!

All funds go directly to the Combat Radio Christmas Breakfast for homeless children.

Last year the event provided breakfast and a gift to over 800 children and their families. Our fundraiser was vital in that Combat Radio was able to add meals for another 200 children last year. As last year, there will also be a silent auction. Items this year include Disneyland items signed by Imagineer Bob Gurr, signed Rambo/First Blood Items, signed Star Trek items, and signed Star Wars items. Ethan is also trying to score tickets for various events and is trying to bring in some actors again for the kids. Two years ago Emmy Award Winner Carolynn Hennessy. Last year personal assistant to Steven Spielberg Mark Marshall (Star Wars Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back, Raiders of the Lost Ark, The Goonies) visited our campus. Thank you so much in advance for your support!

On behalf of the PHS UNICEF Club, Kristina Howell and I would like to inform you that the UNICEF Board Members will be delivering an orange collection box for the Trick or Treat for UNICEF drive to each 4th period teacher this coming Friday, October 20th, during 4th period extension.* This drive will go on for two weeks in your 4th period homeroom class—please announce it to your students and collect any spare change in the box. The incentive is a pizza party for the class that collects the highest amount. The board members will come around on the following 4th period extension, Friday, November 3rd, to collect all boxes.

We greatly appreciate your enthusiastic participation in the annual Trick or Treat for UNICEF drive which is in its SIXTH year! We couldn’t do this without you! Last year, we raised over a thousand dollars and were able to send 200 refugee children to school and provided a water pump for a village. See what we can do collectively? :)

Last year’s winners included Roy in first place with Wemmer’s class coming in second… May the odds be ever in your favor!
