Green Technology Agricultural Education!!!
AgriGreen is an automated plant environment controller that monitors soil conditions at the plants roots in real time and controls irrigation and fertilization with minimal human intervention.
What Do Students Learn???
Students learn fundamental concepts of agriculture such as:
irrigation, fertilization, soil management, principles of
greenhouse and landscaping design,
and environmental concepts.
Students investigate the effects that various parameters such as temperature, irrigation, radiation, fertilization and more, have on the plant growth process.
Blended Learning System
The AgriGreen automated plant environment control system, complete with sensors, pump and irrigation pipes.
E-learning content: Courseware that enables anytime, anywhere, interactive computer aided instruction or self-paced study in agricultural topics.
Hands-on land lab learning, or Optional greenhouse.
