All manual CARNIVAL ENTRY CARDS must be completed with the CORRECT INFORMATION.
Incomplete cards or cards with incorrect information will be returned to the swimmer for correction. Instructions on how to fill in multi entry cards are included in the Club Book and are on the club website.
Unfortunately, this time delay taken to correct the carnival entry cards may impact on entries being included in the targeted carnival. There is an administration process that the carnival entry cards are subject to, prior to acceptance by the host club, so please ensure that ALL INFORMATION is correct prior to submission to ensure that your entries are included.
Swimmers and parents should keep a manual record of personal best times until the Swimming Australia Results Database is fully operational.

If you have already submitted entries for a Club Night and can’t make it, we understand.
Could you please assist us by notifying Race Secretary Cherie Gregory by 4.15pm AT THE
LATEST (earlier if possible) on the Monday club night.
This will allow Cherie to amalgamate heats and possibly combine events so that we are not
trying to do this at the last minute or running the night with vacant lanes, which on any night
will make a welcome difference, especially if it is cold or raining.
We thank you in advance for your assistance in this matter. This will ensure the smooth
running of the night.
All times are “unofficial” until processed
and checked by the Race Secretary and
posted on the club website.
“Nothing in the world is ever
completely wrong.
Even a stopped clock is right
twice a day.”
― Paulo Coelho, Brida
NOT COMING TO CLUB NIGHT ??
If you have already submitted entries and can’t
make it, please notify Cherie Gregory by
4.15pm so that your entries can be withdrawn
from the club night program.
Text or email your NAME : Text : 0407 408 654 or
Email : [email protected]
Just a reminder that running is
NOT PERMITTED around
the pool as it can lead to
injury to either yourself,
others or both. Please WALK
and KEEP EVERYONE
SAFE.
“Over the top” Starts may be implemented at the Referee’s discretion on club nights to speed up proceedings on any events of distances of 50m or over.
After completing a Freestyle, Butterfly or Breaststroke event, the competitor stays in the water against the wall until after the start of the next race.
For Backstroke, competitors will position themselves on the lane rope two meters from the wall. When the following competitor dives over the top of the previous swimmer, he may leave the water.
MONDAY 9th June 2014
There will be NO CLUB NIGHT next
Monday 9th June 2014 due to the
Public Holiday for the Queen’s Birth-
day.
Club Nights resume
Monday 16th June

If you would like to learn about gaining a Technical Official credential please talk to Karen Hope.
High School students are welcome to apply to gain a Timekeeper credential.
Things to remember:
* New Technical Officials are always in demand.
* Technical Officials provide the swimming community with a precious gift - time.
* Without Technical Officials there will be no swim meets and the swimmers have no competition.
* Every time you work at a swim meet you help young Australians achieve their goals and stay healthy.
Why not obtain an official credential for the work you do when volunteering?
