• Accelerator is now in routine operation• Beam is now mainly produced for

beamlines• There is only 2 day/week for

Machine tests since last spring• We also have to face short periods of

time (about 1 week) for maintenance between runs

Accelerator status : Control facts

• Software development are still significant for :• Insertions devices installation and commissioning• Slow and feedforward feedbacks

• Major Machine operation requests are focused on : • Enhancements and bug fixes on DeviceServers,

ATK, Archiving systems, starter, statical database, global supervision of Control system

• Remote access a few applications (MAMBO for instance) through WEB interfaces

• New Linux Servers have to be installed to support the increase of monitoring applications (trends,alarms,etc.)

Accelerators : next steps

Recovery procedures are to be written for many systems

Architecture for Oracle Database must be extended for HDB and TDB new

requirementsMore attributes to be stored Extension of retention period of attributes for TDB

New diagnostics, insertions, and operation tools are still to be developped

On the major part of the beamlines software installation (i.e DeviceServers, java

applications) for « Expert Users » is almost finished

First sequence acquisitions have been done We are now preparing the « Regular operation

phase » :GUI acquisition application developmentHigh level process DeviceServers development
