Fall 2017 Leadership WorkshopsFriday, September 8thth, 2017

Please join the Parent Education Faculty at North Seattle College for our annual Officers’ Workshop. Your individual co-op preschool class boards are invited to this event. The workshops give each member an opportunity to explore their respective jobs, meet their counterparts from other co-ops, and learn how to support the development of a positive and healthy preschool experience.

When: Friday, September 8th

9:30-11:30am (12:00 for PAC)

Where: North Seattle College

Concert Hall # LB 1141(below the Library on the west side of campus).

Officer Position Workshop InformationChairperson and/or All School Chairperson

Chairpersons are asked to share this notice with your board members, coordinate the RSVP information for your whole board, and return the RSVP by September 5th. It is suggested that you become familiar with your chair notebook and on-line resources* before coming to this workshop. If youhave an All School Board, then we ask that the All School Chair coordinatewith each class chair on this fall workshop.

Treasurers This is a recommended workshop for all Treasurers. If you cannot attend, please contact your chairperson.

Health andSafety Persons

It is important to bring your preschool's copy of the Risk Management Manual to this meeting. It is also on-line at coops.northseattle.edu.

PAC Rep This will be the FIRST MEETING and only September meeting and it may run till 12:00. If you do not have this position filled, please considersending a representative so your site can be kept up to date on PAC business.

Secretary Secretaries are asked to bring their secretary notebook for this position.Parent Coordinator Parent Coordinators are asked to review their notebook before the workshop.

Note: No childcare will be provided (your co-op may provide this support). Parking is free for this event.
