2. Handling systems
Aluminium Rims machining line
Rim loading system with lift that shows the rims raising them from down position to where the rims circulate to the different existing cells. Lineal movement to load the centre-unit and vision.
Centre-unit and vision Once the rim is situated in this unit, it is centred automatically thanks to a universal auto-centring claw system. A vision system is also installed to detect non correct rim types. If the model is the correct one, an automatic facing system starts taking into account the po-sition where the drilling process for valve will be done.
Handling Robot 6 NC Axis robot equipped with a pneumatic auto-centre gantry that feeds a lathing machines and a machining centre. The rim that has been oriented in the centre-unit and vision is loaded in both machines for the total machining process.
