Caution / Disclaimer:

AC 240/440V power is available within the Servo Stabiliser . Always disconnect power supply to Servo Stabiliser before opening the covers. Care should be taken while handling power components in the Servo Stabiliser to avoid shock. Only persons with adequate knowledge of electrical systems should attempt to open & repair the Servo Stabiliser on their own. The above directions are not exhaustive and are in the nature of “first level” of repair. User is advised to call trained service engineer from KRYKARD for a thorough check up and repairs in case of any faults.

Principle of Operation

We thank you for reposing faith in KRYKARD, whose presence is seen in more than 3 lac installations across the country. The KRYKARD 1-phase Servo Stabiliser has been designed and manufactured to make protection of your equipment simple though for your peace of mind.

The KRYKARD Voltage Regulating Transformer uses a sophisticated micro-controller bases control system that enables easy conguration of the Servo Stabiliser to suit your needs. Also a simple system of LEDs communicates the operational status of the Servo Stabiliser at a glance.

Ÿ The KRYKARD Servo Stabiliser is an electro-mechnical device to regulate the mains voltage, rendering it safe for use thereby safeguarding your critical equipment.

Ÿ The Servo Stabiliser uses a voltage feedback from the output to regulate and correct the mains input voltage.

Ÿ The Servo Stabiliseris capable of supplying a regulated o/p voltage within +/-1% of the set value (nominal output)-typical 220V AC- for an input voltage varying within a specied voltage range.

Ÿ The in-built protection feature trips the output power supply of the Servo Stabiliser when the input voltage goes beyond operating limits resulting in the output going beyond acceptable limits (+/-10% of the set output). It resumes power supply automatically when the input voltage condition improves and output voltage comes within the acceptable range.

Ÿ Additional features include short circuit protection provided by an HRC fuse. Care is also taken to provide protection against voltage spikes.

Ÿ In case of transit damage, seen as damaged outer packing, dents on the Servo Stabiliser or peeled off paint, refer the matter to the nearest Atandra service center, if the Servo Stabiliser is intact, please follow the installation procedure given below:

Preparation of the site

Ÿ The Servo Stabiliser is designed for indoor operation

Ÿ Locate the Servo Stabiliser as close as possible to the connected equipment or gadget to avoid voltage drop in its output cable.

Ÿ A clearance of at least 0.5 meter has to be provided on all four sides. The input DB (distribution board), providing power to the Servo Stabiliser , should have an isolator and fuses of proper rating.

Ÿ 1-ph Servo Stabiliser require 220V AC line, neutral and earth. DO NOT SUBSTITUTE EARTH FOR NEUTRAL, as it will adversely affect the performance of the Servo Stabiliser and the equipment connected to it.

Ÿ Care to be taken before powering your Servo Stabiliser:

Ÿ Power your Servo Stabiliser only after appropriate care as mentioned above is taken, to prevent risks such as electrical shocks, re hazards and erratic behavior of Servo Stabiliser.

Ÿ Once the Servo Stabiliser is connected as directed, it can be powered. The Servo Stabiliser output will get automatically switched ON with a time delay 7 to 12 seconds. (time delay for auto restart can be varied up to 3 minutes) the Servo Stabiliser will then deliver regulated voltage to your equipment. (this voltage will be displayed on the digital display)

Ÿ Ensure a rm and safe, electrical termination of all electrical terminations, by using correct electrical wiring practices. Employing a good electrician is recommended.

Ÿ Line,neutral and earth cable connections both at the source and equipment ends should not be interchanged
