PROJECT ADVISORY COMMITTEE

Comprising persons from various fields including former/present regulators, policy makers, practioners, CSOs, development partners, etc

Responsibilities• Advice at the regional level• Comment on few of the key project outcomes/outputs• Act as Ambassadors of the project

CUTS is expected to:• Keep the PAC members abreast with project activities• Send event reports/newsletters/update regularly• Seek advise on specific project issues at the regional /national level

Comprising persons from various fields including former/present regulators, policy makers, practioners, CSOs, development partners, etc

Communication gaps or non-communication between the project team & country partners

• Telephone service was used intensively with frequent visits to project countries

Confusion between inter-related terminologies

• Examples were provided to clear the confusion • Confusions were clarified during the interactions between the

project team and partners

Information not easily available • Baseline consumer survey helped in generating first-hand

information

Analytical capability of partners • Project team guided drafting of various key documents • Documents received positive comments from NRG/PAC members

Delay in implementation of project• Two months delay in signing of the contract • Taking suitable action to overcome the delay
