People of all skills can join and the library has 26 ukuleles that participants can borrow.

Spine Crackers: 3rd – 5th Grade Book Club
Mr. L is starting a new book club just for 3rd-5th grade age kids. The library will provide a copy of the books and the group will meet weekly to discuss sections of the book. Our first book will be Bunnicula by James Howe.
Discussion will be held from 3:00-3:30pm on Saturdays, September 28th and October 5th & 12th. The sign up deadline is Sept. 18th. To sign up or get more information, please contact Mr L.
Storytimes resume on September 5th & 6th and take place on Thursdays & Fridays from 10:00 – 10:30am. While your family is invited to attend on whichever day works best for you, Thursday storytimes have a slightly shorter runtime as they are aimed at youngsters learning how to hold in their wiggles for a story or two. If you are unable to bring your little one to events through the week, Mr. L. also has a Preschool Craft Day on Saturday, September 28th from 10am until Noon.
Starting in September, we’re adding more STEAM-based activities to our monthly schedule.
Our monthly LEGO day will still take place on the third Thursday of the month (Sept. 19 from 4:00-5:50pm). In addition, we will host a Makerspace Day Sept. 11 from 4-6pm and a Build It Yourself Craft Day on Sept. 27 from 11am-5pm. Because our Build It Yourself Craft involves use of tools and paint, parent supervision is required and old clothes are recommended.

Teen Times Magic the Gathering Night Magic the Gathering is a card game where players create a variety of decks to play games against each other. The library will be hosting its monthly “after hours” Magic night on Friday, September 20th from 6-10 pm. Experienced players can come find new opponents, while we will provide a deck and support to new players.
Teen Book Club Returns! Teen Book Club is about to start back up! If you haven’t heard, Teen Book Club is for 6th grade through high school age youth. The library provides copies of the books so that teens can meet weekly to discuss sections of the book. This month we will be reading Truly Devious by Maureen Johnson.
Discussion will be held from 2:00 – 3:00pm on Saturdays September 14, 21 & 28th. The sign up deadline is September 8th. To sign up or get more information, please contact Mr L.
