KCSE and Visualization• KCSE represents researchers at KTH in Computational

Science and Engineering.Things in common:

- Large scale computer simulations- Large amount of data - Scientific visualization usually not sophisticated, desktops

• Large potential gains from a visualization effort• Goals:

- Advanced scientific visualization used systematically by CSE researchers at KTH

- New ways to analyze and understand results of computer simulations.

- Enable new discoveries?

• Connections on the research side (e.g. ray tracing for other scientific problems)

• KCSE a natural partner in VIC.
