The Love of God endures foreverforever.

He has chosen uschosen us to be His children.

No wonder John said,

The world will never understandnever understand the wonder of being the sons and daughters of God.

They reject GodGod as Creator and Lord of all.

They rejected JesusJesus when He was on this earth.

It is no wonderno wonder that they do not receive usus or our messagemessage as genuine.

John 15 18 If the world hate you, ye know that it hated Me before it hated you. 19 If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you.17 These things I command you, that ye love one another.

We must lovelove and supportsupport one another, because no one elseno one else is going to.

We must be loyalbe loyal to one another, all the time.The world will useuse you, but

they will nevernever love you.

2 Beloved, nownow are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when He shall appear, we shall be like Him; for we shall see Him as He is.

We are not hoping to becomebecome God's children;

We are nownow His children.

"It doth not yet appear what we shall be."

You can't look at a man and know that he is a son

of God.

2b but we know that, when He shall appear, we shall be like Him; for we shall see Him as He is.

Though our faith does not changenot change our physical appearance in this life,

It does change the way we livewe live our lives.

Where once a man embraced sinembraced sin, after he is saved, he passionately hates sinhates sin.

He once looked for opportunities to sinopportunities to sin, now he strives with all his heart to avoid sinavoid sin.

2 Corinthians 5 17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. 21 For He hath made Him to be sin for us, Who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in Him.

We are a spiritspirit, we have a soulsoul, and we livelive in a body.

Our spirit is born of Godborn of God, sinless and perfect,

A new creationA new creation.

Certainly we struggle with sinstruggle with sin in our soulsoul:

MindMind or intellectintellect, and our emotionsemotions.

The human mind is where the devil spreads spreads his lieshis lies and builds strongholdsbuilds strongholds.

He works to control uscontrol us through our emotions.

And, we are temptedtempted to sin in our bodily appetitesbodily appetites.

But we do notdo not have to yield to temptation.

1 John 5 4 For whatsoever is born of God over-cometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith.
