“Reasons To Rejoice”

Php 4:4 Keep on rejoicing in the

Lord at all times. I will say it again:

Keep on rejoicing!

Php 4:5 Let your gracious

attitude be known to all people. The Lord is near:

Php 4:6 Never worry about anything. Instead, in every situation let your petitions be made

known to God through prayers and requests,

with thanksgiving.

Mat 6:25 "That's why I'm telling you to stop worrying about your life—what you will eat or what you will

drink—or about your body—what you will wear. Life is

more than food, isn't it, and the body more than

clothing?

The Continuation of the Commandments… Seen

Through Christ, Christ IS The True Light That Illumines The Path and Reveals the

Darkened Heart, Forgiveness can be an

impossible task without the Lord enabling, Those that

cannot forgive their brothers are not regenerate.

I. We Rejoice For Forgiveness

1Jn 2:12 I write unto you, little

children, because your

sins are forgiven you for his

name's sake.

“They are children because they are born again by God through the Son by

the power of the Spirit.”

II. We Rejoice For We Can

Recognize God Personally

1Jn 2:13 I write unto you, fathers, because ye have

known him that is from the beginning. I write unto

you, young men, because ye have overcome the

wicked one. I write unto you, little children,

because ye have known the Father.

1Jn 2:14 I have written unto you, fathers, because ye have

known him that is from the beginning. I have written unto you, young men, because ye are strong, and the word of God abideth in you, and ye have overcome the wicked

one.

1Jn 1:1 That which was from the beginning,

which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which

we have looked upon, and our hands have

handled, of the Word of life;

Rev_12:11 And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of

their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.

III. Rejoice Not in the World But in God

1Jn 2:15 Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world,

the love of the Father is not in him.

1Jn 2:16 For all that is in the world, the

lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.

1Jn 2:17 And the world passeth

away, and the lust thereof: but he that

doeth the will of God abideth for

ever.

Isa_2:8 Their land also is full of idols; they worship the work of

their own hands, that which their own fingers have made:

1Jn 2:16 For everything that is in the world—the desire for fleshly

gratification, the desire for possessions, and worldly

arrogance—is not from the Father but is from the world.
