Shri M Narayana Rao, Chairman & Managing Director, MIDHANI, Hyderabad, in his address recalled the placement of order on a single tender basis to CMTI after witnessing a similar machine during his visit to BARC. He also highlighted the importance of the machine in the production of exotic materials being supplied by MIDHANI to its customers and how it can speed up compared to the existing production. He congratulated CMTI for the successful development of the ‘Bar Turning machine’ which will boost the production of exotic materials & the business gains of MIDHANI.

VISIT TO CMTI FACILITIES

Dr. D K Likhi, Director, Production & Marketing, MIDHANI, Hyderabad, in his speechelicited that even though a metallurgist by profession working earlier with Steel Authority of India, buying a special purpose machine for MIDHANI was sceptical about order being placed on single tender basis to CMTI. However he expressed his happiness that CMTI has done a proud job. He wished CMTI many more successes in the years to come.

Shri S Satish Kumar, Director In-charge, CMTI, expressed that the present machine is the result of co-ordinated effort of CMTI and MIDHANI. He thanked the dignitaries for their kind presence and gracing the occasion. He thanked the CMTI staff, MIDHANI staff and all vendors involved in the successful realization of ‘Bar Turning Machine’

The dignitaries visited the various facilities of the Institute. CMTI showcased some recent high technology product development and the various R & D activities carried out by the institute in Nano Technology, Sensor & Vision Technology. The dignitaries evinced keen interest in the activities of CMTI.
