A student who is receiving ESL, is being monitored or has refused service will have a Yellow Alert.

This page will give you the parent/guardian information.ESIS has an English default. If the parent/guardian speaks a language other than English, the language field MUST be changed and the box “Speaks English” must be unchecked.

This is where the information from the Home Language Survey is entered.When a language other than English is selected, eSIS populates the questions regarding interpretation and translation.
17LEP Entry date is stored on this page. This date does not change and is needed on many ESL forms (exit, promotion, etc.).

The scroll bar on the right allows you to see all of the test scores. The scores are for the test that is highlighted in blue. If you select “Date” eSIS will sort test scores by date so you can see the most recent (you can sort by Test Name & Grade also).

Here are ELPA scores. A composite 5 indicates a student may beExited (4=Early Advanced, 3=Intermediate, 2=Early Intermediate, 1=Beginner).

This shows you the ESL Programs the student has received at PPS.If the student has been exited you will find that by using the scroll bar.
