The flag• The Dominican flag is the soul of our country

who crosses the sky of freedom.• The flag was designed by Juan Pablo Duarte,

which clearly defined her in the pledge of Trinity. The father of the country, initially drew a white cross on the Haitian flag. Later became the present, divided into four quarters with the colors arranged in angles contrasting with the blue top left and bottom right.

Dominican nation.

• The first flag was embroidered by Concepción Bona and Maria Trinidad Sanchez. It was hoisted for the first time on February 27, 1844 in the Puerta del Conde.

Dominican National Anthem • Reyes believed that when the Dominicans have

a hymn to sing with feeling and love, they would claim in his soul the sentiment of the country, and they will be absolutely sure to be Dominicans forever.
