Sound Spa helps create your perfect sleep environment. You can fall asleep to any of its six calming

sounds. Sound Spa can also mask distractions to improve your concentration while you read,

work or study.

Assembly and Instructions for Use1. Unpack the product and check to make sure everything is included (Fig 1).

2. This unit is powered by a DC adaptor, which is included or by four “AA” batteries, which are not included.

3. Attach the DC adaptor jack to the base of the unit and insert the cord into a 120V household outlet.

4. To install batteries, remove compartment cover. Insert four “AA” batteries into the compartment on the

bottom according to the polarity direction indicated. Replace cover and snap into place.

Note: Do not mix different types of batteries together (e.g., alkaline with carbon-zinc or old batteries with

new ones).

Listening to Nature Sounds1. Power the unit on by turning the VOLUME knob in the clockwise direction.

2. Press the button of the sound you wish to listen to (Fig 2). The green POWER LED will indicate the

unit is on (Fig 3).

3. To adjust the volume, turn the VOLUME knob (Fig 3) to your desired level.

4. When finished listening to the sounds you may turn them off by turning the VOLUME knob to the

off position (Fig 3).

Note: When the unit is turned on it will always default to the last sound used.

Using the Auto-Timer1. When the power is on and you are listening to a nature sound you may set a timer so the unit will automatically turn off.

2. Toggle through the TIMER button (Fig 3) until the corresponding LED illuminates next to the time of your choice, 15, 30 or 60 minutes. The unit will automatically shut off after the selected time and the POWER LED (Fig 3) will remain lit showing you it is still in timer mode. If you choose to listen to another timed sound press the timer button to select a desired time. Or if you choose to listen to the sounds continuously, turn the unit off and then back on. Note: Do not select the TIMER button if you wish to listen to the sounds continuously.

Maintenance

To Store

You may leave the unit on display, or you can store it in its box or a cool, dry place.

To Clean

Wipe off dust with a damp cloth. NEVER use liquids or abrasive cleaner to clean.

Modifications not authorized by the manufacturer may void users authority to operate this device.

Limited 1 Year WarrantyHoMedics sells its products with the intent that they are free of defects in manufacture and workmanship for a period of one year from the date of original purchase, except as noted below. Assemblage et instruction d’utilisation1. Déballez l’appareil et vérifiez qu’aucun élément ne manque (Fig 1).2. L’appareil est alimenté à partir d’un adaptateur c.c., inclus, ou à partir de quatre piles « AA », non comprises.3. Branchez l’adaptateur c.c. à la base de l’appareil, et ensuite à une prise domestique de 120 V.4. Pour installer les piles, enlevez le couvercle du compartiment à piles. Insérez quatre piles « AA » dans le compartiment à piles, selon l’orientation des polarités, comme inscrite dans le compartiment. Replacez le couvercle. Remarque : N’utilisez pas divers types de piles en même temps (par ex. des piles alcalines avec des piles salines, ou encore des piles neuves avec des piles usagées).

Écoute des sons naturels1. Mettez l’appareil en marche en tournant le bouton de réglage du VOLUME dans le sens des aiguilles d’une montre.

2. Appuyez sur le bouton correspondant au son que vous désirez écouter (Fig 2). Le voyant D.E.L. vert POWER indique

que l’appareil est en marche (Fig 3).

3. Pour ajuster le volume selon votre goût, tournez le bouton VOLUME (Fig 3).

4. Une fois terminé, vous pouvez arrêter l’appareil en tournant le bouton VOLUME en position d’arrêt,

soit OFF (Fig 3).

Remarque : Lorsque l’appareil est remis en marche, il activera toujours le dernier son choisi.

Using the Auto-TimerUtilisation de la minuterie1. Lorsque l’appareil est en marche et que vous écoutez un son naturel, il vous est possible de programmer l’appareil afin qu’il s’éteigne automatiquement.

2. Utilisez le bouton TIMER (minuterie) (Fig 3) jusqu’à ce que le voyant D.E.L. correspondant au choix que vous désirez s’allume. Vous avez le choix entre 15, 30 ou 60 minutes L’appareil s’éteindra automatiquement après que le nombre de minutes sélectionné soit écoulé, et le voyant D.E.L. POWER (Fig 3) demeurera allumé pour indiquer que la fonction minuterie est toujours active. Si vous désirez écouter un autre son avec minuterie, appuyez sur le bouton TIMER pour sélectionner la durée de votre choix. OU, si vous désirez écouter un son continuellement, éteignez et remettez en marche l’appareil.

Remarque : N’utilisez pas le bouton TIMER si vous désirez écouter les sons naturels sans interruption.

Rangement

Laissez l’appareil où vous l’utilisez, ou rangez-le dans sa boîte dans un endroit frais et sec.

Nettoyage

Enlevez la poussière à l’aide d’un chiffon humide. NE JAMAIS UTILISER un nettoyant liquide ou abrasif pour

nettoyer l’appareil. Les modifications non autorisées par le fabricant peuvent annuler le droit de l’utilisateur

d’utiliser cet appareil.
