Whether you are over or re-seeding pastures OPICO have a seeder to suit the job - the AIR 8 & 16 are designed to fit directly onto an OPICO Grass Harrow. The seeders accurately meter and distribute the seed evenly across the full width of the Grass Harrow which opens up the soil, creates a tilth and then covers in the seed - an ideal environment for seed germination.

A high-output Grass Harrow and seeder, designed for large-scale farmers and contractors. The Grass Master consists of a heavy-duty harrow complete with levelling board, purpose-built to carry an Air 16 Seeder. Farms are using ever larger machinery on their grassland which brings with it an increasing problem of compaction. The Sward Lifter is designed to alleviate compacted layers in the soil opening up the subsoil to improve drainage and air interchange without significant damage to the productive sward.

The new and improved model features a re-designed frame with an improved trailed cutting disc as well as a new depth control system. The “opening” cutting disc is now mounted on a spring-loaded trailing arm allowing it to trip out of the way of obstacles more easily. A simplified depth setting system has also been added.

The Micro-Pro has been developed to enable accurate application of microgranules such as Avadex up to 12m working widths when mounted on a variety of implements. It has 8 or 16 outlets giving a spacing of 75cm between outlets for a robust double overlapping spread pattern. Each outlet is fed by an individual metering roller ensuring even microgranules distribution across the entire working width. In independent tests measuring the complete spread pattern the Micro-Pro 16 spreading at 12m has produced a market leading coefficient of variation of under 5%. The Micro-Pro is also suitable for applying slug pellets.

The New Magna 120 Eco is a basic specification dryer designed to give an affordable 12 ton holding capacity dryer whilst still offering the clean burn, fuel saving technology like the rest of the Magna range. The 2910 is the largest winch-up machine in the Magna range, at 3.99m wide. Whilst it is not readily mobile it can be relocated and used at a number of sites if necessary.The 12 inch loading auger and 18 inch vertical auger ensure grain is loaded and unloaded quickly minimising downtime and in turn maximising drying time. The 2910 is able to dry approaching 300 tons in a 24 hour period making a significant difference to even the largest farms’ wet grain intake.

The 3810 uses the base frame and drives from the 2910 launched in 2009 but incorporates fixed screens and a bolt on plenum extension which are built on farm. Whilst this effectively makes the dryer fixed it allows a significant increase in the size of the drying zone which means the drying capacity increases in proportion with its holding capacity unlike large winch-up machines. The fan, burner and auger capacities have all been increased in line with the holding capacity to achieve the highest throughput possible whilst still retaining all the other features common to the Magna range.

The 4810 is the 3810’s larger brother, it uses the same base but with an even larger holding capacity and plenum extension. Like the 3810 this means that the 4810 is effectively a fixed dryer but allows a significant increase in the size of the drying zone which means the drying capacity increases in proportion with its holding capacity unlike large winch-up machines. The fan, burner and auger capacities have all been increased in line with the holding capacity to achieve the highest throughput possible whilst still retaining all the other features common to the Magna range.

12, 20 AND 29 TON AUTOMATIC GRAIN DRYERSOnce set up in conjunction with a wet holding bin or supply these 3 phase fully automated models are capable of loading, drying, cooling and unloading completely automatically giving unattended drying for hour after hour seven days a week. Automation gives huge labour savings and frees up time for staff to be involved in other operations at a very busy time of the year, it also allows drying around the clock increasing the throughput a day which keeps combines rolling even in the most difficult of years.

The 3810 and 4810 Magna grain dryers take the recirculating batch principle to a new level. Whilst in moving away from retractable screens they become a fixed installation on farm, the bolt together plenum and outer screens mean that key drying zone is proportionally larger. This ensures that these models do not merely give an increase in holding capacity they give an equivalent increase in drying capacity. When set up in conjunction with a wet holding facility this makes the automated versions amongst the most efficient and highest throughput batch dryers on the market.

AUXILIARY DISCHARGE AUGERS FOR GT & MAGNA DRYERSA range of additional auxiliary augers are now available for OPICO’s Magna and GT grain dryers.These augers come in a variety of lengths from 4 to 8 metres and can be utilised in conjunction with all automatic grain dryers. The start and stop functions for these augers are controlled by the dryers automatic programme allowing discharge through these augers to be incorporated into the automatic cycle.Auxiliary augers can also be utilised with electric and PTO dryers but need an upgrade to the electrics so are only available with factory ordered grain dryers.
