a FREE screening of the doc “Chasing Ice.” The screening is part of The Cultural Exchange Film Screening Series, a collaboration between Hyattsville Library and Creative Edge.

“Chasing Ice” is the story of

photographer James Balog’s mission to gather undeniable evidence of our planets changing climate. Leading the post screening dialogue with the community is Creative Edge’s own, Talaya Grimes. Light refreshments and raffle are also provided.

participate in the Innovation Studio Workshop “Finding Your Story” with Kathryn Washington, Director of Diversity & Innovation, Corporation for Public Broadcasting.

She will guide participants in

exploring the potential for their ideas to become powerful stories that persuade, entertain and influence in this interactive session.

The cost is $75 for an individual or

for teams of three. Registrants will be asked to submit a one-pager on their project. Event is limited to 10 projects. Light refreshments provided. Registration required. Look out email annoucing early bird registration discount.
