Now in its 10th year, the award-winning International Stage located on the Lake Clara Meer dock brings hundreds of performers representing countries throughout the world to the Atlanta Dogwood Festival. Highlighting the many international communities that call Atlanta home, the International Stage features children and adult professional and amateur performers with genres including dance, singing, martial arts, drumming and more. We are grateful to all of the performers who donate their time and talent to this exciting stage.
Young visitors will find plenty to do in our Kids Village presented by Visit Tallahassee! Families, be sure to head to the Mayor’s Grove near the central playground for creative hands-on arts and crafts projects and interactive pursuits. Peter Hart with Atlanta Puppet will be performing on Friday and Saturday until 7 pm and Sunday until 6 pm.
In the Meadow, the Midway has a variety of rides like the Swing Tower, Black Forest Fun House, the ION, Carousel and fun inflatables. The Atlanta Dogwood Festival has enough to entertain even the toughest young critic!
You won’t want to miss this family-friendly, fur-flying event! The 2018 Disc Dog Southern Nationals Qualifier tournament began at the Atlanta Dogwood Festival more than 25 years ago with only 10 competitors as a one-day event. This annual competition has grown to a two-day event and has become one of the most prestigious canine sporting events in the South. Today, it is a premier USDDN World Finals Qualifier. It’s also a festival favorite for many attendees!

Each spring, we put on Atlanta’s largest fine arts festival in Piedmont Park and welcome hundreds of thousands of visitors. Thanks to these hard working people who make it all possible:
The Atlanta High School Art Exhibition (AHSAE) offers young artists an opportunity to compete, exhibit their work and earn prizes like scholarships and art supplies. This “must see” festival event is a juried competition drawing upwards of 700 entries each year from which the best hundred works comprise the festival exhibition. Established in the early 1970s, the AHSAE recognizes and encourages the fine quality of art created by the area’s high school students. Welcoming entries from high school art students from 12 regional Atlanta counties, the competition offers awards worth more than $40,000 and fills a growing gap in creative opportunities for youth. Be sure to visit the Atlanta High School Art Exhibition in the Community Center near the 12th Street Entrance to get a look at the variety and breadth of Atlanta’s young artistic talent.
