S.O. 389(E).-Whereas, Mis. Infoparks Kerala had

proposed under Section 3 of the Special Econpmic ZonesAct, 2005 (28 of2005), (hereinafter referred to as the saidAct) to set up a sector specific Special Economic Zone forinformation technology and information technologyenabled services at Villages Puthencruz andKunnathunadu, Taluka Kunnathunadu, District Emakulamin the StateofKerala; .

. And, whereas, the Central Government, in exerciseof the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of Section 4 ofthe said Act read with rule 8 of the Special Economic ZoneRules 2006, had notified the area of 12.5804 hectares atabove Special Economic Zone vide Ministry of Commerceand Industry Notification number S.D. 1064(E) dated 16thMay, 2011;

And, whereas, M/s. Infoparks KeraIa has now

proposed to include an area of 27.0477 hectares to aboveSpecial Economic Zone and the Central Government afterconsidering the said proposal approved and conveyed iton27thDecember,2011; .

Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferredby second proviso to sub-section (1) of Section 4 of theSpecial Economic Zones Act, 2005 and in pursuance of~le 8of the SpecialEconomicZones Rules,2006, the Cen-tral Government hereby notifies an area of 27.0477 hect-ares as part of the above Special Eco~omic Zone, therebymakingtotalareaof the SpecialEconomicZone as 39.6281hectares,comprisingthe,surveynumbersand the areagivenbelow in the table,namely :-
