Message in the Information DisplayTighten Cap: Fuel cap is missing ornot properly tightened. Check that thefuel cap is installed and tightened atleast one click.
Temperature Gauge: If the pointer is in thered zone, turn off the engine immediately, oras soon as safely possible.*Instrument Panel IndicatorsIndicators should go out shortly after startingthe engine. If an indicator stays on or comeson while driving, follow instructions in thedescription.• Red indicators are critical and require
immediate attention.• Amber indicators are urgent and require
attention as soon as possible.• Blue and green indicators are used for
general information.Note: It is important to see the Instrumentsand Controls section in the owner’s manual.

Charging system indicator: Battery is notbeing charged; see dealer as soon as possible.Low oil pressure indicator: Low oil pressure;turn the engine off as soon as safely possible.Supplemental restraint system (SRS)indicator: Possible SRS malfunction; seedealer as soon as possible.*
Seat belt reminder light: Fasten seat belts.
Door and trunk open monitor: A door or thetrunk lid is open.Security system indicator: Blinks when thesecurity system is armed.Keyless Access System Indicator (ifequipped): There is a problem with thekeyless access system; see a dealer. Parking BRAKE and BRAKE systemindicator: Parking brake on and/or low brakefluid level.Malfunction indicator lamp (CHECK enginelight): Engine or emissions system malfunction;have dealer inspect the vehicle.Message indicator: Use the steering wheelINFO (i) button to scroll to the messagedisplayed in the MID.

Flashes when VSA is active.Vehicle stability assist (VSA®) systemindicator: Possible VSA system problem*SIDE AIRBAG OFF indicator: Passenger'sside airbag is off and will not deploy duringa crash. PASSENGER AIRBAG OFF indicator:Passenger’s front airbag is off and will notdeploy during a crash.SH/AWD Indicator: Indicates a malfunctionin the SH-AWD system; have a dealerinspect the vehicle. If it flashes, SH-AWDtemperature is too high. Anti-lock brake system (ABS) indicator:ABS malfunction; see your dealer as soonas possible.Low tire pressure/TPMS indicator: Flashes for 75 Seconds: TPMSmalfunction; have dealer inspect thevehicle. Remains Lit: One or more of thevehicle’s tires is significantly under-inflated.Stop, inspect the tires, and add air asrequired.Electric Power Steering (EPS) indicator:EPS malfunction. Stop the vehicle in a safeplace, turn off the ignition, then restart thevehicle. If the indicator does not go off orcomes on again, see a dealer.
