Where will we go

• Hopefully make our voice heard

• Enrich dataset with open data from local administrations

• Show that data can be unified instead of fragmented

Where did we start from

• A simple idea, an everyday problem

“Where do we recycle correctly?”

• That was related to environment

• ... but it may also be also an Industry problem

Have a look around first!

• Is your app/website/whatever already on the market?

• If so, can you contribute instead of “fighting” it? (Maybe it’s even open source!)

We are against fragmentation

• The one you can “hack” best

But don’t forget the rest

Is it a startup?

We aren’t...

for now.

Think of the future

• What will happen of the app later on ?

Don’t focus only on the contest

• Open Data in #Italy just started (Dati.gov.it is from October 7th 2011 (http://www.dati.gov.it/content/datigovit-il-portale-dei-dati-aperti-della-pa)

• So hack the hell out of it!

• It’s getting more mature as time passes...

• ...and we may allow clumsy attempts.
