Praises
We praise the Lord for the abundant rain and beautiful weather. Thank you Lord for a time of fun and fellowship at our School Days Party! Doug & Suzi Smith praise the Lord for the “My Hope America” training they
attended on Saturday.
Prayers
Mike & Brenda Morris-as they continue with repairs on the vacant and flooded home of her mother.
Mike also asks prayer for his sister who is having major health problems. Sonny & B Deanda’s son’s mother-in-law, Sherry Turner (on hospice
w/cancer)
Kathy Kellar asks for Bob’s continued recovery from his stroke and that he will be faithful about his rehab at home.
Mike & Brenda Morris ask prayer for their daughter Mary in Austin.
Mike & Brenda Morris also ask prayer for their son Louis, a single parent, and his daughter, Rachel, as school begins.
Doug & Suzi Smith request that we pray that a job will open up back here in
Texas for their son, Derek and for their son, Lyle, in Waco who will have back surgery Sept. 25th.
Sandra Pape asks prayer for her son, Anthony, who will have knee surgery
on Oct. 1st and also for her son-in-law Brian . Belia Deanda requests prayer as she waits for results of MRI on her lower
back to determine best course of action for pain caused by her MS.
For Kim Mariano (pastor of College Hills Baptist Church’s wife) who continues chemo treatments for breast cancer.
For Barbara Burcham (Cynthia Hickey’s cousin) as she continues chemo
treatments for breast cancer. For our G.R.O.W. Ministry that every member of the Heights family will
become involved in this vital outreach.
For our church leadership (may we remember to pray for & encourage them)
For Peyton McCone that he will be completely healed.
Operation Christmas Child
Information and Boxes will be available in the main lobby. Begin now gathering items such as small toys, hygiene items, and school supplies that will fit in a shoe box. Give $7 per box to pay for the shipping. Guides for how to pack a shoebox may also be found online at
www.samaritanspurse.org Pray that God will touch the heart of every child who receives a shoebox
gift, and that many children and families will come to faith in Jesus Christ.
