He grew and learnt like any child.

“This is my Son, whom I

love; with him I am well pleased”

The whole deity took part in our salvation, when Jesus started His ministry.

He was tempted in a sin-free environment.

There was plenty of food.

He wasn’t fasting.

He gave away when was tempted to satisfy his appetite against God’s will.

When he was tempted, he mistrusted the Word of God.

He got away from God and joined Satan’s government.

He was tempted in an environment under the influence of evil powers.

He had no food in the wilderness.

He was fasting.

He didn’t give away when he was tempted to satisfy his appetite against God’s will.

When He was tempted, he rejected the temptation.

Satan offered him the kingdoms of the world, but He stayed loyal to the Father.

“Christ began the work of redemption just where the ruin began. His first test was on the same point where Adam failed. It was through temptations addressed to the appetite that Satan had overcome a large proportion of the human race, and his success had made him feel that the control of this fallen planet was in his hands. But in Christ he found one who was able to resist him, and he left the field of battle a conquered foe. Jesus says, "He hath nothing in Me." His victory is an assurance that we too may come off victors in our conflicts with the enemy”.

Jesus started to break the power of death in his worldly ministry, showing how we can reach

communion with God and with our fellow men, here and in New Creation.
