January 18, 2017 Customer Advisory #07-2017 “Certificate of Conformity” needed for shipments of used motor vehicles to GUINEA Dear Valued Customers, Please note that importers of used motor vehicles into Guinea must provide a “certificate of conformity” in order to facilitate the clearance of their cargo. Such certificate is issued online through the website www.unicarge.com to the e- mail address of the shipper and must be displayed on the windshield inside the vehicle. Attached below is an example. Booking parties are requested to provide a copy of this certificate together with their B/L instructions prior to the documentation cutoffs. This new regulation is effective as of February 1, 2017 (onboard date). CMA CGM is offering service to Conakry, Guinea via Montreal, Halifax and Vancouver.
