Low-Voltage Controlsand Distribution Advantages of innovative busbar-trunking systems compared to
conventional cable installation
Space saving compact design of the busbar-system
Modular - the modular concept of a busbar-trunking-system allows very short installation times and
supports segmential installation. Immediately afterthe installation the busbar-trunking system can beused to distribute energy on the construction side.
Flexibility in changings: tap-off boxes can be placedand removed while the system is live.
Fire load - enclosures made of sheet metal and mainlymetallic material inside a busbar-trunking unit the
fire load is strongly reduced in comparison to cableinstallation
High short circuit rating as it is required for anelectrical installation in a ship.

Special solutions
- Bulkhead A60
Bulkheads for A60-decks for BD2- andLD-System
To realise a continious installation of thebusbar system through an A60-deck there is
a fire- and water resistant bulkheadnecessary
The internal bulkhead is delivered ex factory.
The outside part of bulkhead is realised onsite in a steel pipe using Flammadur E950
sealing compound.
