VHT Plus (Variable Hydro Transmission)A Kubota exclusive! Our high-performance, three-range VHT Plus offers you the performance you require under demanding conditions, with strong acceleration, smooth, engine-assisted deceleration and superior “hill-holding” abilities.

The RTV’s drive train system generates maximum power and speed for varying driving conditions by controlling the release of oil flowing through a closed circuit. When the speed control pedal is depressed, the oil in the hydraulic pump is released into the hydraulic motor, which rotates the drive shaft. The faster the oil is released, the faster the drive shaft rotates, thereby increasing the RTV’s speed.

To take on inclines, the oil in the hydraulic pump is released into the assist motor. When activated, the assist motor sends pressurized oil into the hydraulic motor, resulting in a reduction of speed for a gain in power. For steep hill climbing, the assist motor increases pressure, further reducing speed to achieve a substantial gain in power.

3 Slide back the protective screen.Finally, slide back the protective screen and attached seat back all the way to the bed and lock it in place. Now you’reready to ride. Reverse these three actions for access to the RTV1140CPX’s

Fold the front and sides of the bed.The front and front sides of the cargo bed have been built with hinges to conveniently fold up and in towards the back of the bed.
