DESCRIPTION
ALPHATRANSCRIPT
CordexControllerSoftwareVersion2.05Alpha Technologies is pleased to announce the release of our newest software version for the Cordex
(CXC) Controller, Version 2.05.
Improvementsthissoftwareupdatebrings: Fixed a bug where email addresses longer than 31 characters would not work as event
destinations. Email addresses up to 63 characters long can now be used.
Webpage string‐length checking now ensures that SNMP Community Names are 31 characters
or less.
Fixed a problem in the processing of the RS485 output queue which caused occasional Improper
Shutdowns.
Modifications: Added a “diagnostic capture tool”. In the event of an Improper Shutdown, the CXC will capture
some diagnostic logs during the shutdown. These can then be downloaded and sent to Alpha
Technical Support for diagnosis.
Increased the number of custom signals from 10 to 20.
The values of the custom signals can now be set over SNMP.
Increased the number of destination and SNMP community strings to 10.
Updated from Argus log to Alpha logo.
SpecialNotes: A new bootloader (version 2.01) was released at the same time as CXC software version 2.05.
Upgrading the bootloader is not necessary in order to run the new software, but it is
recommended as it contains an important fix. The order of upgrading the bootloader and
application does not matter.
SNMP users should upload and install the latest MIB files for use with CXC 2.05.
KnownIssues: There is a known issue with the ADIO Calibration Utility on the CXC. The ADIO will come from
the factory already calibrated, so users should avoid trying to recalibrate from the CXC. If
recalibration is absolutely necessary, Alpha Technical Support personnel can provide a work‐
around.
