WHAT SHOULD BE CATALOGUED?

All items that exists in the item master need to be catalogued (identified and classified)

Catalogue structuring to be done into levels 1 to 4 with reference to the following elimination sequence of criteria:

Sole supplier

Contract items

Direct items (non stock)

Other items with Illustrated Parts Lists (IPC)

The remaining items will be catalogued with various levels in order to optimize the following objectives:

To entertain duplicate resolution

Common resolution process

Supplier adoption process

To optimize purchase descriptions


Capture images and link to selected Items


Identify Duplicates and Merge items
